- I promise, in all my relationships with vulnerable adults, youth and/or children to follow appropriate action in compliance with all legal and ethical standards;
- I promise to help protect all children and vulnerable adults from abuse or risk of abuse and I will adopt and abide by the Child & Vulnerable Adult Abuse Protection Policy and Procedures.
- I promise to use appropriate and professional language;
- I promise to show no discrimination as per the current Newfoundland and Labrador human rights act; including but not limited to; bias based on gender, ethnic background, skin color , intelligence, age , religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status;
- I promise that I will not harass others,
- I promise that I will not use my position to manipulate or take advantage of children, youth or vulnerable clients;
- I promise to respect confidentiality and privacy, unless a child, youth or vulnerable adult is in danger, then I will report to my supervisor and the proper authorities.
- I understand that failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned policies may result in immediate dismissal
